Since then, I have had other fun opportunities to get a feel for the land and spiritual atmosphere here. I decided to just bullet point this part of the journey. :-)
*Saturday night, I finally connected with the land. Andy (the connection from AdventureServe that I met as a result of Shannon/Grace's prophetic word) took me to a couple pieces of property and set me loose. I think I was just waiting for such a loosening. Turned into quite an experience - for both of us, I think.
*Felt prompted to pray for Hawaii peeps Sunday night (early Monday morning), but that wasn't all . . .
Was up around 3am with all kinds of stuff. At first I tried to go back to sleep but began having flashes of crying out over the land (pictured the field by GCF in Wilmore, KY but might have been symbolic) and this voice in my spirit saying, "It is time. It starts now."
*Been interceding for a bit. One question I thought last night while chatting with Bonnie was , "Why here, Lord? Why so many revivals here in Eastern Kentucky?" Tonight I felt an answer - this, historically, has been a place of pioneers - people of a strong body and mind who take pride in being self sufficient and able to handle whatever comes along. There is power when anyone surrenders, but I was hit with a wave of the power that is released when those with that pioneer type spirit humble themselves before God. Wow!
*Went to receive prayer Monday night. With everything I envision on its way, I felt it was time to follow the old HSR (Holy Spirit Retreat) model and go do some embarrassing confession in preparation for infilling. One woman said she saw a picture of me and God in a hot air balloon that was just in the process of rising into a new season. It was nice confirmation.
*Did a prayer walk with some ladies from Wellspring on Tuesday. It was great to be interceding with a team and I feel like God really showed up and revealed some things to us as we walked and prayed.
*Wellspring tonight (Thursday) was quite fun. We got a lot of prophetic words for people that appeared to be accurate. Some of them seemed to really usher in breakthrough and new levels of freedom, which is always fun. Also, we prayed for a gentleman with pain in both feet and, within a matter of minutes, the pain went from a 6 to a 0. Such a great night of prayer!
