March Update and Financial Needs

Hi, all.  Thanks for reading on in spite of the word "financial" in the title!  I will hit that first and then move on.  :-)

A few people have asked that I be specific in my financial needs.  Slowly, clientele is building - though it ebbs and flows.  Monthly bills (not counting food and gas) run at $1525.  If you add in debt (including student loans) it is an additional $600.  I am currently on Medicaid for health insurance which allows me to earn $1350/month.  See a problem??  I am not quite making bills but will soon need to add health insurance to my monthly ledger.  :-P

For now, I am assuming work/client load will increase next month and push me over the $1350 mark.  (Hopefully, it will push me over the $2000 mark!)  For those so inclined, here are the areas I need financial help above and beyond regular monthly expenses.  One of them is ongoing, the rest are one time fees.  If you feel led to donate toward one of these, please do let me know.  :-)

Ongoing: Medical Insurance (Approx $300/month)
Hawaii Counseling License Application Fee ($60/once)
Hawaii Counseling License Official Fee ($350/every 3 years)
ACA Membership - Needed for Liability Insurance and CEU credits ($165/annual)
ISSTD Membership - Allows me extra trauma certification &resources ($220/annual)

Now on to the fun stuff!

While finances have been a problem since I started grad school, other things are looking up.  For those of you who may not have seen, I recently facilitated a Holy Spirit Retreat at Southern Acres Church in Lexington, KY.  It was a great time of gathering, learning, and experiencing the Holy Spirit.  Pastor Cameron has already asked when we can put another one on the schedule! Here is some of the fruit from the conference:
**Two different people contacted me to say that the material is so simple that they were able to take it and teach it to others the very next week.
**One attendee's former experiences with people teaching on the Holy Spirit left her feeling manipulated and she had avoided such things for a long time.  She was so happy that this retreat was based on scripture and not just opinions.
**Another attendee declared that she had never experienced the Holy Spirit in such an intense way.  She was also activated into the prophetic and has been "dropping" prophetic ministry everywhere she goes.
**Many "brought game" and shared a public word, testimony, or original song for the first time.
**I am still getting requests for dream interpretations.  :-)
**We had amazing healing at the Healing Service.  One was decades long pain and another was an actual shifting of the body and growing out of a leg.  I have never seen with my own eyes such a thing.  When we finally asked the recipient of the healing to try to walk, she not only walked but ran laps around the church and hopped from one foot to the other - something she had never been able to do before.

Sunday morning prayer times continue to be one of my favorite times.  This is true in any location.  Just last Sunday I prayed and saw two backs completely healed, one back partially healed, a foot injury partially healed and a man delivered of a tormenting generational spirit.  Just another day "at the office".  :-)

Speaking of "at the office" I continue to see God move there every week.  I can't say too much publicly about those things.  But my heart swells with joy as I see shifting and change in those who have honored me by letting me be a part of their journey.

Mom is currently staying with me.  She is volunteering at the Kentucky Horse Park 1-2 afternoons a week and at special events.  She is also helping with the Greeting Team and Communion Prep at Southern Acres.

I am working to pull income from three different streams - Our Lady of Peace, private clients, and some misc work for a local real estate agent.  I am applying for a full time position through OLOP but have mixed feelings about it.  Income and health insurance would be great but it would be 12:30pm-9pm Monday - Friday which is the time period when almost all of my clients come in.  There are four of us applying in house and at least one of the others has more seniority than I do.  We shall see what happens.

I think that is more than enough information for one blog entry.  Blessings to you all!
